Join an international group of translators of the Ti- betan language and scholars of Tibetan Buddhism for three days of discussion and workshops on the theme of the Translation and Transmission of Ti- betan Buddhism in the West. This gathering will be the second in a series of conferences and meetings designed to explore and deepen the collective un- derstanding of the challenges involved in the trans- lation of Buddhist literature. Representatives from more than twenty different translation groups will be joining us at the Univer- sity of Colorado, Boulder, May 31 - June 3, 2017. The program will include presentations from spe- cialists such as Luis Gomez, Jan Nattier, José Ca- bezón, Janet Gyatso, Thupten Jinpa, Donald Lopez, Susan Bassnett, David Bellos, and many others. Register early as attendance is limited; and please consider donating to the Travel Subsidy Fund to help translators from around the world attend this important conference.
